ARTIST STATEMENT
When we designed the Moriah Table, we were thinking about what it means to truly gather. Not just to sit together, but to see one another clearly. Here, solitude is willingly set aside in favor of communion, dialogue, and reconciliation. The proportions of the tabletop came from a desire to remove hierarchy and obstruction, so every person around the table feels equally present.
We wanted the form to carry a quiet strength. Solid enough to feel permanent, yet refined enough to remain open and welcoming. For us, the table is not only a functional object, but a space where everyday rituals take place, where conversations unfold and time is shared.
